Leeds to host RB Leipzig at Elland Road before Dublin meeting with Man Utd | OneFootball

Leeds United will host RB Leipzig at Elland Road on the weekend of August eight and nine, a few days before meeting Manchester United in Dublin.

According to Leeds Live, the Elland Road date follows the postponement of a previously arranged friendly with Manchester United.

Daniel Farke’s side are due to face their rivals at Croke Park on Wednesday, August twelve.

RB Leipzig’s majority owners, Red Bull, have held a minority stake in Leeds since the start of the 2024/25 campaign, when Farke’s team won the Championship title. The company has also been the front-of-shirt sponsor for two years.

Leeds will travel to the USA in July for their first visit in 29 years, facing Wrexham in Tampa on July 25, Sunderland in New Jersey on July 30 and Liverpool in Chicago on August two.

Those quickfire fixtures come less than two weeks before the 2026/27 Premier League begins on the weekend of August 22/23. The Whites then have around 10 days free before kicking off their second Premier League campaign under Farke.
