In a recent report, journalist Pete O’Rourke claimed that Leeds United are behind Celtic in pursuit of Bodo/Glimt striker Kasper Hogh. It has been mentioned that the Whites are trailing the Glaswegian side in the race to sign the Danish forward.
Hogh has caught the eye at times with his performances as the focal point of Bodo/Glimt’s attack in this campaign so far. The Danish talent has found the back of the net on eight occasions and earned four assists in 16 appearances for the Norwegian side this season in various competitions.
The 25-year-old is currently among the best forwards in Norwegian football. Thus, the Whites would do well to lure him to Elland Road in this summer transfer window.
His current contract at Bodo/Glimt will run out at the end of 2029, which could make it difficult for Leeds United to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Hogh is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to engineer the odd chance for his teammates to score. He is also quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty area.
The Danish talent has proven his worth as a decent performer in the UEFA Champions League this season. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Whites manage to get a deal done for him this summer.
We can expect Hogh to add more firepower to Leeds United boss Daniel Farke’s attack. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at Elland Road in the coming years.
At 25, Hogh has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the West Yorkshire club to pursue at the end of this campaign. All in all, Farke would be wise to step up his chase to acquire the services of the Danish striker later this year.
