Leeds United are assessing Julian Brandt as part of their early transfer-window plans, with a Premier League challenge part of the equation.
Muchodeporte claims Real Betis have already made an offer and that the player’s father visited sporting director Manu Fajardo to explore a La Liga switch. No agreement is in place, so Leeds and other clubs are monitoring the situation.
Brandt is 30 and has spent his entire career in Germany, leaving open the question of whether he wants to test himself in England.
"It’d be interesting to see him in the Premier League because I’ve watched him a lot over the years in the Champions League, and he’s been at Dortmund a long time." Alan Smith said, speaking to BestBettingSites.co.uk.
"He probably feels he needs a change and experience another league, perhaps. And the Premier League is the top one to go to."
"He’s that number 10, that creative player. He can play on either wing, but it could be a good move. Daniel Farke, obviously a compatriot."
"He’ll be hoping that if he can get him, he can get the best out of him and help create chances for Leeds."
