Leeds United supporters united in praise for Brenden Aaronson after his impressive showing against Sunderland, continuing signs of a timely resurgence.
The forward set up Dominic Calvert-Lewin as Leeds fought back from a first-half deficit to earn a Premier League point, and he was named man of the match.
After sustained criticism in recent years, fans on X called his display class, praised his tireless work on and off the ball and said his confidence is growing.
Several also highlighted back-to-back standout outings and noted he already has two man-of-the-match awards this season, against West Ham and Sunderland.
“I think rhythm’s a huge thing and momentum’s a huge thing in this league. I mean, look at Aston Villa. They’ve won 10, 11 games in a row now. And it’s the same with some other teams. When you get momentum in this league, I think Fulham, nine points in a row, or three wins in a row, you just pull away from everybody. So I think momentum’s huge for us, so we’ve got to keep this going. And listen, it’s going to be a tough away game in Liverpool, but we’re up for it, and we’ve done great away from home in recent times, and we’ve got to keep doing it.” He told LUTV.
