Leeds head to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night with the chance to secure Premier League safety. A win would clinch it and it could even be sealed earlier if West Ham lose to Arsenal.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke was unwell on Friday, so assistant Edmund Riemer handled media duties and said in-form Noah Okafor is set to miss two games with a calf strain. He added that Pascal Struijk had not trained with the group but there was hope he could be available on Monday.
Gabriel Gudmundsson remains out with a hamstring issue and Ilia Gruev’s season is over following a meniscus injury. Attention now turns to how Leeds could set up in North London.
Goalkeeper Karl Darlow was likely frustrated by the soft concession that denied him a clean sheet at Burnley, and he might also have one eye on a summer contract decision.
At centre-back, Joe Rodon was largely untroubled at Burnley and goes to his former club with a point to prove.
Jaka Bijol might have fancied a physical tussle with Dominic Solanke, instead he is set to contend with Richarlison’s movement, and he showcased his range of passing last weekend.
Struijk has looked shakier than his fellow centre-backs of late, yet has still impressed, and Leeds will want another Bournemouth-style display if he is passed fit.
On the right, Jayden Bogle supplied his first assist since early December last weekend and is likely to be tested more defensively at Spurs.
