Leeds United are preparing for a second season back in the Premier League, and attention now turns to how their squad’s market value compares with next term’s rivals.
The newly-promoted Whites finished 14th, eight points above the drop, collecting 47 points and losing only five more league games after November’s 3-2 defeat at Manchester City. They ended two points behind Everton and Newcastle United, two ahead of Crystal Palace, three clear of Nottingham Forest and four in front of a Tottenham Hotspur side that scraped survival on the final day. According to Transfermarkt, the latest squad valuations set the pecking order across the division.
Third-bottom West Ham went down despite reaching 39 points, with Burnley and Wolves also relegated. They are replaced by champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-offs winners Hull City.
In the valuation table, Manchester City lead on €1.32bn, followed by Arsenal on €1.23bn, Chelsea on €1.16bn and Liverpool on €1.02bn. Tottenham Hotspur are fifth at €811m, with Manchester United sixth at €747.40m.
The rankings include the three promoted clubs and provide the context for where Farke’s side sit among next season’s opponents.
