Leeds United are yet to announce a signing this summer, but a deal is in place for free agent Harry Wilson and work continues on Shea Charles and Julian Brandt. Chairman Paraag Marathe has said there will be departures. Wilson left Fulham after 10 goals and seven assists last season.
Activity is expected to ramp up once the World Cup ends. The Athletic reported in May that Freiburg made an enquiry for Willy Gnonto, while updates also include Harry Gray.
Goalkeeper Karl Darlow has left as a free agent, though talks with Leeds continue and a contract offer remains on the table. Illan Meslier has departed following the expiry of his deal and has since been linked with Arsenal as back-up to David Raya.
Sebastiaan Bornauw has been linked with FC Koln, who want defensive experience, and it is unclear whether he or Leeds would sanction a move. Pascal Struijk has joined Brighton in a transfer understood to be worth £18m plus £2m in add-ons, with a sell-on clause included.
Isaac Schmidt is expected to leave permanently, with links to FC Basel and Young Boys understood to be accurate. He has returned from a loan at Werder Bremen, who did not trigger an option of around £2.5m.
