Lehlohonolo Seema is under a lot of pressure!

The growing pressure at Siwelele intensified on Saturday following a 2-0 defeat to Magesi FC in Seshego, marking their fifth league loss of the season. The result leaves the newly promoted PSL side languishing third from the bottom of the table, having managed just four points from their first seven matches. Their only victory remains their league opener against Golden Arrows all the way back in August.

In the aftermath of the loss, coach Lehlohonolo Seema confronted the challenging situation head-on. He acknowledged that pressure has been a constant companion from the very beginning of his tenure, but he urged for perspective, framing the club’s journey as a long-term project.

“Look there are teams that haven’t won,” Seema stated, contextualizing their struggles.

He emphasized the infancy of the project, reminding everyone, “This team is just four months old and like I have said to you it’s work in progress we are not in despair.” Dismissing the notion that pressure is a new phenomenon, he added, “I mean the pressure is always there. The day I was announced as the team coach there was already pressure.”

Rather than yielding to the difficult circumstances, Seema’s message was one of resilience and determination. “So, we have to soldier on and the pressure we must live with it it’s football. And football matches we have to win. So, we continue to work definitely we won’t stop.” His words painted a picture of a squad resolved to persevere, acknowledging the realities of the sport while committing to the hard work required to turn their fortunes around.
