Leicester City see fourth summer exit as Amani Richards joins Barnsley | OneFootball

Leicester City’s summer clear-out gathered pace this week, with two exits confirmed on Wednesday. Amani Richards has since joined Barnsley on a permanent deal, the fourth confirmed move of the window.

Victor Kristiansen has completed a loan switch to Panathinaikos with an option to buy. LeicestershireLive understands that clause becomes an obligation if he reaches a specified number of league appearances.

Richards departs more than three years after signing. He did not make a senior appearance, but scored 18 goals for the Under-18s and 14 for the Under-21s.

The Foxes are yet to make a signing, and are understood to be close to deals for Danny Ings and Conor Chaplin. They are currently the only League One club yet to add to their squad.

Russell Martin’s rebuild has accelerated following several contract expiries and recent departures. Harry Winks posted a farewell message to Leicester on social media.
