Leicester WSL clash altered for TV coverage | OneFootball

The date and time of City's Barclays Women's Super League clash with Leicester has been updated due to live TV coverage.

We now welcome the Foxes to the Joie Stadium on Saturday 14 February, with kick-off set for 12:00 (UK) and will be shown live in the UK on Sky Sports.

The change is subject to City’s Men’s First Team not being handed a home tie, should we progress into the fourth round of the FA Cup this weekend.

City locked horns with Leicester back in December, picking up a 3-0 win at the King Power Stadium.

Despite what the scoreline may suggest, it was a closely fought encounter, with the visitors getting our noses in front in the 74th minute through Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s instinctive strike.

The Jamaican doubled our tally ten minutes later, before Kerolin marked her return to action with a third in stoppage time.

Leicester currently sit ninth in the WSL table, signing off for the winter break with a hard-fought 1-0 win over London City Lionesses.

City, meanwhile, sit top ahead of our return to action.
