Lennart Karl marked his 18th birthday with his Bayern Munich contract turning professional and extending to 2029, triggering a pay rise to around €2 million a year.

A clause added during last summer’s renewal stipulated the switch upon turning 18, shifting the end date from 2028 to 2029.
