Linda Dallmann has signed a one-year contract extension to stay with FC Bayern Women until 30 June 2027. The 31-year-old Germany international joined the club in summer 2019 and has so far won four Bundesliga titles, the DFB Cup and two Supercups during her time in Munich.

Rech: “Helped shape recent years”

Bianca Rech, FC Bayern Women director: “We’re really happy that Linda has extended her contract. She’s having an excellent season at a really high level and is a hugely important player for our team and the goals we want to achieve together. Linda has been with us since 2019 and has helped shape recent years. Her big connection to the club since childhood is well known. So we’re delighted she’ll continue to wear the Bayern shirt in the future.”

Linda Dallmann: “Bayern to me means being at home, in an environment in which I feel good as a player. I’ve been playing here since 2019 and am proud to be part of this special development. I’ve had lots of great moments and think I can still achieve a lot with the team. Munich has become my second home. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the nature, the mountains, the city and the ambience here. So I’m delighted to be continuing on this journey with the club and the fans.”

Key figure in team

Dallmann has become a vital figure in Bayern’s midfield since her move from Essen. She has so far made 193 appearances for the club – the most of any current player in the squad – and scored 58 goals. Behind Jovana Damnjanović, who joined in 2017, she is the second longest-serving player at the club alongside Mala Grohs, Giulia Gwinn and Carolin Simon. Dallmann made her senior international debut for Germany in a Euro qualifier against Russia in 2016 and now has 74 caps to her name. Her greatest success with the national team was a runners-up finish at Euro 2021 in England, plus winning the 2020 Algarve Cup.
