Lionel Messi confirms he watches Hansi Flick’s Barcelona | OneFootball

Barcelona legend Lionel Messi has confirmed that he continues to keep a close eye on the performances of his former club.

Veteran frontman Messi has of course reemerged front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.

This comes after the Argentine paid a surprise visit to his former stomping grounds at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Prior to as much, though, Messi had actually already sat down for an interview with Spanish outlet Diario Sport.

And during as much, the 38-year-old was drawn on a whole host of topics regarding Barcelona.

One such question saw Messi asked if he continues to watch the Blaugrana’s fixtures from afar, under the watch of Hansi Flick.

And the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner went on to assure:

“Yes, yes, obviously I follow them, and more than there are several of us who are now together and we always comment, we talk about all the situations that happen in the club and the results and the game.”
