Lorient also tracking Madiodio Dia
According to several media outlets, Lorient has joined the list of clubs interested in Madiodio Dia, the 21-year-old Senegalese center-back who currently plays for Haugesund.

AIK is reported to have already made an initial offer, but the Norwegian club turned it down. Despite this, talks between AIK and the player’s representatives are said to be well advanced. According to Africa Foot, several French and Norwegian clubs are also monitoring Dia, including Lorient, currently 16th in Ligue 1.
The player has confirmed the interest surrounding him:
A lot of teams want me despite a tough season, but I’m staying focused. We’re waiting for the right moment to make a move.
This season, Madiodio Dia has played 23 matches in the Eliteserien and scored one goal. He is under contract with Haugesund until 2027.
