Manchester United are playing in their first-ever Women's Champions League game tonight against Vålerenga, and they now have their first goal in the competition.
United dominated the opening half hour, having over 70% of the ball and almost all of the chances against the Norwegian side.
The opener, though, would come from the spot after Arna Eiriksdottir was rather harshly judged to have handled Julia Zigiotti Olme's attempted ball to Elisabeth Terland.
United captain Maya Le Tissier made absolutely no mistake from the spot, coolly slotting home.
Having started the Women's Super League season so strongly, United look to be following suit in Europe.
