ExpressAndStar.com reports that Manchester United have been linked with Wolves teenager Mateus Mane, after suggestions of a reunion with Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

United are said to be leading the race to sign the 18-year-old, if he is to leave Wolves this summer. Rob Edwards has indicated Mane will stay for the Championship campaign, with the player echoing that stance.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly tabled a £14.7 million offer for former Wolves defender Bastien Meupiyou, now at Portuguese side Alverca. Wolves hold a low-cost buy-back clause but are not expected to trigger it.

The sell-on deal from last summer would see Wolves recoup the £4.2 million they paid, plus 50 per cent of any profit above that. Any move could therefore hand the club a cash boost.

Aston Villa are said to be in talks over a new contract for 22-year-old Lamare Bogarde amid outside interest, including from Premier League side Brighton. His current deal runs until 2028.

With Emi Martinez linked with a move away, Villa have also been credited with interest in PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, with Spurs named as another possible destination for the Frenchman this summer.
