Forward was spotted limping at weekend to prompt injury fears

Bryan Mbeumo has allayed fears over an injury by joining his Manchester United team-mates in the travelling squad for Tuesday's Premier League game at West ham.

Mbeumo was pictured limping outside Old Trafford on Saturday, having earlier opened the scoring in a 2-0 win over 10-man Tottenham as interim manager Michael Carrick made it four wins in a row since his appointment.

But Mbeumo has seemingly shaken off any injury concerns to join the squad on the train from Stockport to London on Monday evening, and is now expected to start against the resurgent Hammers.

However, Carrick will again be without the injured trio of Mason Mount, Matthijs de Ligt and Patrick Dorgu.

Leny Yoro was not spotted by onlookers at Stockport train station but, as Carrick did not mention the player at his pre-match press conference earlier in the day, there are currently no fitness fears regarding the young defender.

Carrick is against the Hammers looking to win his fifth game in a row, which United have not achieved in the Premier League since December 2022.

"I think you've got to go into the game understanding the situation of both teams," he said. "We've tried to paint that picture to the players in every game we've played so far and it'll be the same come Tuesday night.

"The type of game, the feel of the game, what kind of skills we're going to have to try and draw on. Different games throw up different things. Teams towards the bottom of the league are really fighting for things, but so are we, and we've got a lot to fight for, so you'd like to think that balances out in some ways and it's who can come out on top at the end of it."
