Ruben Amorim rings the changes after epic extra-time thriller against Lyon in the Europa League
The 20-year-old defender is one of five changes from Thursday's dramatic extra-time win over Lyon in the Europa League.
Fredricson comes into the defence along with Victor Lindelof and 18-year-old Harry Amass.
Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro and Diogo Dalot drop the bench.
Kobbie Mainoo comes in for Casemiro in midfield and Bruno Fernandes is on the bench, with Christian Eriksen coming in for the captain.
Chido Obi is on the bench as Rasmus Hojlund leads the line.
Amorim’s changes are little surprise with nothing to play for in the Premier League and all attention now focused on winning the Europa League, which would give United direct qualification for next season’s Champions League.
Andre Onana starts after earning back his place for the second leg against Lyon.
Lindelof and Noussair Mazraoui come back into the team after both players had to leave Old Trafford on Thursday night due to personal issues.
United remain without Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez, while Toby Collyer has also been dealing with a knock of late.
Confirmed Manchester United XI: Onana; Mazraoui, Lindelof (c), Fredricson; Dorgu, Eriksen, Ugarte, Amass; Garnacho, Mainoo; Hojlund
Subs: Heaton, Dalot, Evans, Yoro, Casemiro, Maguire, Fernandes, Mount, Obi
Injured: Martinez, Amad, Zirkzee, De Ligt, Heaven, Collyer
Doubt: Evans
