Juventus, fourth in Serie A, have extended the contract of their Italian captain Manuel Locatelli until 2030.
Locatelli joined from Sassuolo on loan in 2021. The move was made permanent in 2023.

The club said in a statement that the renewal is another step to provide solidity and continuity to their sporting project, looking to the future with the aim of making the team more competitive.
The 28-year-old midfielder has made 224 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring nine goals and supplying 17 assists.
An Italy international, he has 36 caps and three goals.
