Marcelinho strikes late as Remo upset São Paulo | OneFootball

Remo beat São Paulo 1-0 in Belém to rise from 19th to 18th in the Brasileirão, while the visitors' league winless run stretched to five.

In the fourth minute of second half stoppage time, Marcelinho finished low into the bottom left from Leonel Picco's pass to settle it.

Earlier, Ivan kept Leão Azul in the game with four first half saves, twice tipping efforts from Artur and Enzo Diaz wide. Before the winner, Rafael denied Marcelinho with a header in added time as the drama built.

Picco had entered on 71 minutes and his fresh legs helped push Tricolor Paulista back, with the hosts threatening even before the break when Patrick struck the right post.

Tricolor Paulista saw more of the ball with 60.5% possession and registered four shots on target. Leão Azul produced nine attempts and hit the target twice.
