Marco Silva began Benfica’s pre-season at Seixal after replacing José Mourinho, and the opening session was notable for several omissions. According to Glorioso 1904, around 30 players reported for duty.

The Spanish left-back spent the second half of last season at Torino on loan, and the Italian club are following him while attempting to renegotiate the transfer figures.
