Mario Götze has signed a two-year extension with Eintracht Frankfurt, keeping the 2014 World Cup winner at the club until 2028, the club announced on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old's future had been uncertain a few days ago, before Wednesday's confirmation.
Götze joined Eintracht in 2022, having spent the bulk of his career with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, with a spell at PSV Eindhoven.
He was the match-winner in the 2014 World Cup final against Argentina, scoring in extra time after coming on late in normal time.
He won the Golden Boy award in 2011. At international level he has 17 goals from 66 appearances.
