The Royal Moroccan Football Federation is preparing to turn an important page. According to Moroccan media outlet Al Mountakhab, a tribute ceremony for Walid Regragui is set to take place this Thursday at the Mohammed VI Complex to honor the work accomplished by the former head coach of the Atlas Lions.

On this occasion, the FRMF is also expected to officially announce the new technical organization of the national team. Mohamed Ouahbi and his staff are expected to be introduced as the new leaders of the Moroccan national team.

Walid Regragui parted ways with the federation by mutual agreement a few weeks after the lost final of the 2025 AFCON held in Morocco, thus closing a significant chapter in the recent history of the Atlas Lions.
