Several players could still leave FC Bayern this summer. The record-holding champion aims to generate revenue to ensure financial stability. A concrete offer has now been made for one player.

That player is Jonathan Asp Jensen. He spent the current season on loan with Grasshoppers in Zurich. There, he turned heads with his strong performances.

Even though the team had a difficult season, he was one of the best and most consistent players. This led several clubs to take an interest in him early this summer.

Lazio is making an offer for Asp Jensen

Clubs from Serie A, in particular, have been linked to the midfielder. According to Corriere dello Sport, the 20-year-old has now received an offer from Lazio. The Italian club is also already in talks with Bayern.

Lazio is reportedly offering the record champions around four million euros to sign the Danish attacking midfielder soon. It remains to be seen whether that will be enough. Talks are currently underway between representatives of both clubs as they attempt to reach a solution.

Asp Jensen and Lazio have already reached an agreement in principle; the issues regarding salary and general contract terms have been resolved.

The biggest sticking point at the moment is the sell-on clause, which the record champions want included in the contract. Lazio wants to keep Bayern’s share of any future transfer fee as low as possible, while Bayern, of course, wants to earn as much money as possible should the player leave Lazio at some point.

There is still no agreement on this point, which is why the transfer has not yet been given the green light. Other clubs still have the opportunity to hijack the deal and reach an agreement with Bayern and the player.
