Newcastle interested in signing Robin Risser from Lens | OneFootball

According to a report from The Telegraph, Newcastle United are interested in signing Robin Risser (21) from RC Lens during the summer transfer window. The Premier League club are aiming to sign a new goalkeeper when the transfer window reopens. 

The French U21 international has impressed for Les Sang et Or this season as they have emerged as unlikely title contenders. He has featured in 31 league matches for the Ligue 1 club this season. Risser has only conceded 31 goals and has managed 10 clean sheets for Lens this term. 

Newcastle to rival Brighton in the race to sign Risser

The Magpies are not the only Premier League club interested in signing the Frenchman during the summer transfer window. Brighton are also interesting acquiring the 21-year-old’s services, Florian Plettenberg understands, as a battle emerges for his signature.
