Neymar returns as Santos name squad to face Remo | OneFootball

Neymar Jr has been recalled to Santos’s squad for Thursday’s Brasileiro meeting with Remo.

Diario Do Peixe reports that kick-off is at 19:00 at Vila Belmiro in the ninth round, and the club have named 24 players. Only 23 can be registered on matchday, so one will be omitted, likely Falcão, the third goalkeeper.

There are four absentees. Right-back Mayke is recovering from a PRP procedure with corticosteroid in his knee, midfielder Gabriel Menino has a right hamstring injury and forward Gabriel Barbosa has a muscle problem in his right leg. Attacking midfielder Miguelito is returning from the Bolivian national team.

Goalkeepers: Diógenes, Falcão, Brazão. Centre-backs: Zé Ivaldo, Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres, Adonis Frías. Full-backs: Igor Vinicius, Escobar. Neymar sat out the last round against Cruzeiro for load management.
