Leeds United Academy goalkeeper Darryl Ombang has been named in the Enterprise National League North Team of the Week for the second time this season, following another outstanding performance on loan at Darlington.
The 20-year-old played a key role as the Quakers recorded back-to-back victories last week - a 2-1 win away at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday 8 November at Aggborough Stadium, and a commanding 5-1 triumph over Worksop Town on Tuesday 4 November.
It marks Ombang’s second Team of the Week appearance since joining Darlington on a youth loan from Leeds on 25 October - the first coming on his debut, when he kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Southport.
Ombang’s sharp reactions, composure under pressure, and confident distribution have caught the eye since his arrival at Blackwell Meadows. In total, he has made four appearances, helping his side to three wins and a rise up to 12th place in the National League North table.
