What do you now predict as the final 2025/26 Premier League table?
Now that the 12th round of matches has been completed.
A bizarre and hilarious match at Old Trafford on Monday night, as Everton went down to 10 men in the 13th minute but Manchester United struggled to create chances, never mind score, whilst the scouse mackems finished their one big opportunity.
This followed on from an entertaining weekend of action, especially that excellent performance and result at St James’ Park on Saturday night.
Eddie Howe’s team team deservedly winning 2-1 against Manchester City.
The twelfth round of Premier League matches now brought to a close.
So where do you now see Eddie Howe and his team fitting in when it comes to the end of the season?
This is how the Premier League table now currently (morning of Tuesday 25 November 2025) looks:

When it comes to predicting what the final 2025/26 Premier League table will look like after the 38th round of fixtures in May 2025, Opta have done some updated analysis.
Using their latest data simulations, Opta analysis has shown this as the most likely 2025/26 Premier League table come the end of the season – Predicted table as at the morning of Tuesday 25 November 2025:
So when it comes to Newcastle United, Opta currently believe NUFC most likely to finish eighth this season
Newcastle United to end up with 55 points according to their predictions.
As for the chances of winning the Premier League in 2025/26, Opta rating that a 0.23% chance.
The Opta model currently predicting a 11.82% chance of Newcastle United qualifying for the Champions League via finishing top four.
However, Newcastle United would have a better chance of Champions League football than via that top four prediction, if the top five in the Premier League qualify, as happened last season. Although that does of course massively also depend on United building on this Man City result, improving their league form and looking capable of challenging towards the upper end…
When it comes to potentially getting relegated, Opta see that as a 0.33% possibility for NUFC.
Looking at the current Premier League table after the weekend, whilst Newcastle United only stayed in 14th position despite that excellent victory over Man City, you can also see how unbelievably tight this league is.
Newcastle only five points off a Champions League place (fifth) and indeed, only eight points off second top. Also five points off second bottom as well of course!
Simply a case of Eddie Howe and his players knowing that if they can put a bit of a run together in the Premier League, they can rapidly climb up this table.
