Organised Corinthians fans confronted the squad at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on Friday, ahead of Sunday’s derby at Santos, amid a four-match winless run.

According to Diario Do Peixe, representatives from organised groups held direct talks with players, executives and coaching staff at the training base in eastern São Paulo.

Rodrigo Garro, Memphis Depay and Matheus Bidu attended, alongside president Omar Stabile and football executive Marcelo Paz. Head coach Dorival Júnior was not present.

The meeting followed a 2-0 defeat to Coritiba in the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, after which protests were heard at Neo Química Arena.

The club authorised the supporters’ entry for the sit-down with group leaders. Players acknowledged the poor spell, with Garro and Memphis accepting they are short of form.

Matheus Bidu spoke separately to apologise for a post-match remark, when he said the crowd should not forget the team’s 2025 campaign.

Hours later, the groups released a joint note criticising recent performances, citing apathy and a lack of commitment, and referencing the recent Paulista exit and no improvement after a training period. The statement said players committed to greater effort, dedication and responsibility in upcoming games. It was signed by Gaviões da Fiel, Camisa 12, Pavilhão 9, Estopim da Fiel, Coringão Chopp and Fiel Macabra.

The Santos match is set for Sunday at 16:00 at Vila Belmiro, in the sixth round of the Brasileiro.
