Orlando City are reportedly 'in talks' to sign Atlético Madrid star Antoine Griezmann, according to The Athletic.
While there is no agreement as of yet, the 34-year-old is said to be Orlando's main 'focus' as they look to fill their open Designated Player spot.

Griezmann has long been linked with a move to MLS, with many believing he would eventually land in Los Angeles for a reunion with former France teammate Hugo Lloris at LAFC.
The Frenchman is the all-time leading scorer for Atlético Madrid with more than 200 goals in all competitions, and would be yet another in a long list of world-renowned superstars to make the move to North America in recent years.
Orlando City kicked off their 2026 MLS campaign with disappointing home defeat at the hands of Red Bull New York, but should they wrap up a deal for Griezmann in the coming days it will surely give them a boost in the early stretches of the new season.
