Own goal lifts Lille into third at Monaco

Lille beat Monaco 1-0 at Stade Louis-II to climb from fourth to third in Ligue 1, settled by a Denis Zakaria own goal.
The breakthrough came in the 72nd minute when Denis Zakaria turned into his own net, handing Lille the points.
Berke Ozer made three saves, including a smart early stop from Jordan Teze, to keep the visitors secure. Lukas Hradecky saved twice as Les Rouge et Blanc pushed without reward.
After the restart, Nabil Bentaleb replaced Ayyoub Bouaddi at half time, and Monaco introduced Wout Faes, Mamadou Coulibaly and Ansu Fati around the hour mark, but the decisive moment still belonged to the visitors.
Earlier, a Lille penalty appeal was rejected after a VAR check before the interval.
Les Rouge et Blanc had 54.5% possession and seven attempts. Lille also registered seven attempts, with two on target.
