Partizan Belgrade sporting director Predrag Mijatovic wants the permanent purchase of Stuttgart attacking prospect Jovan Milosevic wrapped up as quickly as possible. The 20-year-old – thriving on loan in his native country – also doesn’t wish to return to his Bundesliga parent club.
Mijatovic spoke on the “2×45 Podcast” and is quoted by Kicker as stating that all parties involved wish to get the deal done as soon as possible. Milosevic is scheduled to report back to Stuttgart in january, meaning there isn’t much time left.
“A return to Germany or a loan to another club would be a step backwards for Milosevic,” Mijatovic is quoted as saying. “We are open to any kind of agreement as long as Milosevic comes to us, whether it includes buyback options or re-sale clauses. We believe that we will be successful with this, and I believe that those responsible in Stuttgart also think that it would be beneficial for everyone if Jovan stayed at Partizan.”
Milosevic has been playing for Belgrade since January 2024 and has so far scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 19 competitive games across all competitions so far this year. In the process, the Serbian U21 international has increased his estimated market value to €3m.
