Niccolò Pisilli gave a short interview to Idealista in collaboration with Roma.
The Giallorossi midfielder recounted his first steps at Trigoria: “I was nine years old, I came for a trial and it went well. It’s one of the moments in my life I’ll never forget. They also signed one of my friends with whom I always played football in front of the house, and we went through almost the same process at Roma. Then, on the eve of the Primavera, he left, and fortunately, I continued.”
The Giallorossi midfielder realized he would become a professional footballer when he joined the first team: “There’s no real moment, because they’re phases of a journey that starts when you’re young. Let’s say that when I started to be a regular member of the first team, I realized I’d continue playing on the football pitch for a long time.”
Pisilli expressed satisfaction with the Giallorossi’s return to the Champions League: “It’s simply the goal we work towards every day: to help Roma achieve increasingly ambitious goals. It’s what we all wanted, and for many of us, it will be a new feeling, given that this stage has been missing for several years.”
The Giallorossi midfielder recalled his first goal for Roma: “It’s a unique, indescribable feeling. When I scored against Sheriff in the Europa League, it was my second competitive match. I remember the emotion of that moment on the pitch, even though, in truth, it’s a different feeling every time.”
The Roma player’s number 61 on the compliments he received from the coaches: “It’s not for me to say; I’m just focused on making myself available, trying to make the most of my qualities as an attacking midfielder. Then, of course, knowing that there are coaches who respect you is always a pleasure and a motivation to always do better.”
