Footage captured the moment a charter plane, believed to be carrying England players, landed at Birmingham Airport on Sunday 19 July as the squad returned from the World Cup after sealing third place.
According to Flightradar24, the charter flight left Fort Lauderdale in Florida at 10.48pm and arrived in Birmingham at 12.02pm.
On Saturday, England beat France 6-4 to secure third place, the men’s side’s best World Cup finish since winning the tournament in 1966.
Jordan Pickford, Ezri Konsa, Elliot Anderson and Jordan Henderson were seen disembarking. Some team-mates are understood to have stayed in Miami for holidays or to visit family.
Supporters gathered to cheer as the players departed the terminal. The airport is about 30 miles south of St George’s Park near Burton-on-Trent, the national team’s base.
