Raniele trains with Corinthians after injury, remains a doubt for Bahia | OneFootball

Raniele trained with Corinthians on Friday at CT Joaquim Grava, according to Globo.com. He joined the group reserved for players who featured little or not at all in the 3-0 win over Remo in the Brasileiro.

The midfielder had been ruled out on Thursday after injuring himself in Monday’s session at Neo Química Arena. He trapped his foot in the new pitch, fell, grazed his knees and sustained trauma to his right knee.

He is back on the grass, but internally he is still considered a doubt for Sunday’s game against Bahia at Arena Fonte Nova, which kicks off at 16:00 Brasília time.

Friday’s schedule began with strength work in the gym. Players who logged more than 45 minutes remained inside the training centre for recovery.

Left-back Matheus Bidu, who required three stitches after a head cut, took part in the regenerative work.

The remaining players went out for a practice match on the pitch overseen by head coach Fernando Diniz.
