Rayan has been voted Vasco’s best player of 2025, while Loide Augusto was rated the worst, according to Globo.com’s ge poll.

Rayan earned 81.51% of the vote, ahead of Andrés Gómez on 11.70% and Barros with 6.79%. At 19, he was Vasco’s most decisive performer, registering 20 goals in 57 appearances, second only to Vegetti.

Andrés and Barros arrived mid-season. Operating on the flanks with pace and skill, Andrés secured a starting spot and pushed Vegetti to the bench. Barros returned from loan and locked down the holding role with strong marking and intensity.

In the worst list, Loide led with 69.56%, followed by Oliveira on 16.36% and Matheus Carvalho with 14.08%. He played 18 matches without a goal or an assist, and after Matheus França and Andrés joined, he was loaned out. His most controversial moment came against Operário-PR in the Copa do Brasil, when, after repeated instructions from coach Fernando Diniz, he beat a man and saw his shot saved, then made provocative gestures towards the bench.

Errors in the Carioca undermined Lucas Oliveira’s season, he lost favour with Carille and slipped down the pecking order. Mateus Carvalho’s form fell sharply as the year wore on and Diniz began to leave him out.
