Kylian Mbappé sent a touching message to his Real Madrid teammate, Vinicius Jr, after Saturday night's victory over Villarreal.

Against Villarreal in La Liga, Vinicius Junior enjoyed a breath of fresh air. The Brazilian netted a brace (3-1). While his first goal was all down to his individual brilliance, he can thank Kylian Mbappé for letting him take the penalty, even though the French striker had been designated as the team's regular penalty taker by Xabi Alonso this season.

Vinicius Junior stepped up and coolly converted. On his Instagram account, Mbappé posted a photo alongside the Brazilian: "always with you on the boat," he captioned, a clear sign that he will always stand by his side.
