Real Madrid reveal 5 nominees for Player of the Month for September | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have unveiled the five nominees for the club’s official Player of the Month award for September.

And the shortlist features star performers from both ends of the pitch.

The obvious favourite to clinch the prize is Kylian Mbappé, fresh off keeping alive a remarkable stretch of form in front of goal courtesy of a hat-trick against Kairat on Tuesday.

Also a real contender, though, is youngster Arda Güler. The Turk spent September continuing to grow into his role as one of the first names on the team sheet of boss Xabi Alonso, notching five direct goal contributions in six appearances.

Elsewhere, Vinícius Jr. is in the running despite his hit-and-miss recent form, with summer signing Franco Mastantuono also put forward after an impressive settling-in period in Spain’s capital.

And last up comes Éder Militão, fresh off securing the award for La Liga Goal of the Month.
