Goalscorer Gonzalo has of course spent the season to date plying his trade amongst the first-team setup at Real Madrid, reward for his efforts at last summer’s Club World Cup.

All told, however, the 22-year-old has struggled for game time.

With Kylian Mbappé sitting ahead of him in the centre-forward pecking order at the Bernabéu, Gonzalo has been restricted to just six La Liga starts.

Across these appearances, the youngster has managed to find the net four times (six goals in all competitions).

Held in high regard across the continent, it has therefore come as little surprise to see Gonzalo tipped for a summer exit from Spain’s capital.

As alluded to above, however, any club keen to bring the attacker in with a view to next season will need to pay up.

As per a report from Diario AS, Borussia Dortmund would be willing to offer up around 30 million to land Gonzalo.

Real Madrid, however, are eyeing a fee closer to €60 million.
