In a major development, it appears Real Madrid are now ready to sell Vinicius Junior next summer and are preparing for the biggest sale seen in the history of football.
This is according to SER Deportivos, which suggests Real Madrid have halted all contract negotiations with the Brazilian international.
This comes after Vinicius’ agents’ latest request, which would see the Brazilian earn the same salary as the team’s star player, Kylian Mbappe.
This is not something Real Madrid are willing to provide and therefore, the club are seriously considering the option of selling him to Saudi Arabia next summer.
The report adds that Real Madrid are planning to extract at least €250 million by selling Vinicius next summer.

The club believe Saudi Arabia will be willing to provide that kind of outlay for a player like Vinicius, having previously offered him a jaw-dropping contract worth €1 billion over five years.
Should Saudi Arabia spend as much as €250 million for Vinicius, the Brazilian would become the most expensive player in footballing history, surpassing his own countryman Neymar.
The report adds that the prospect of a move to Saudi has been tempting the Real Madrid forward in recent months, especially after a decline in form.
Real Madrid, for their part, have a plan in place in case they are forced to part ways with Vinicius next year.
Should things play out that way, the Merengues intend to go big on signing a new forward in the summer of 2026. They are particularly keen on Erling Haaland, their next big attacking target, with the club keen on pairing him up with Mbappe.
