The name of attacker Olise has of course dominated the media headlines in Spain across the summer to date.

Amid an ongoing search for a big-name addition to the incoming José Mourinho’s attacking ranks, the France international has been identified as the perfect profile.

Despite the ongoing speculation, Real Madrid have already moved to publicly assure that Olise is not an active target for the club with a view to next season.

‘Madrid’s stance on Olise remains unchanged, with internal sources referring to the official statement in which they denied any negotiations regarding him. Sources with close ties to Madrid say the club has made it clear that signing the France international from Bayern is not seen as feasible this summer.’
