Real Sociedad set date for fourth pre-season friendly | OneFootball

Real Sociedad have confirmed their fourth pre-season friendly, away to Toulouse on 31 July at 19:00 in Tarbes. The club said on Monday the match will be at Stade Maurice Trélut, with Toulouse having finished ninth in Ligue 1.

Pellegrino Matarazzo’s first pre-season in charge is taking shape. The squad return on four July, with an open session in Zubieta the following day. International players will join later after time off.

The opening friendly is on 18 July against Racing de Santander, newly promoted to the top flight, in Zubieta.

Next come two Premier League opponents. Real face Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery and current Europa League champions, on 25 July at The Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium, Walsall, at 15:00 local time.

They then meet Wolverhampton at the same venue on 28 July, kick-off 19:45 UK time. The team will travel on 24 July for five days in England, combining those matches with training.

They are scheduled to return to Donostia on Wednesday 29 July.
