Having not played a single match this season, Umar Sadiq returns to the Real Sociedad squad. The Nigerian striker finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel.

Sergio Francisco has announced his squad for the trip to Seville. Real Sociedad will face Real Betis Balompié this Friday, September 19, at 19:00 GMT.

Umar Sadiq is included in the squad for the first time this season. He had already missed the first four La Liga matches, including the recent home defeat against Real Madrid (1-2).

The Nigerian international (12 caps, 1 goal) was courted by several clubs last summer, including Alavés, Elche, and Valencia. Ultimately, he remained with the Basque club.
