According to a report from Marc Mechenoua, Jhon Durán (22) will not move to France during the January transfer window. The Al-Nassr forward was linked with a move to Ligue 1, with both Rennes and Lille interested, but the opportunity to move to the French top flight appears to be no longer an option for the striker.

Les Dogues looked to have even agreed a deal to sign the former Aston Villa forward on loan until the end of the season. However, for reasons that remain unknown, a deal for the Colombian international has now collapsed. The forward now looks set to stay on loan with Fenerbahçe

The 22-year-old was also being considered by Les Rouges et Noir for a potential move as the Ligue 1 club looked to bolster the attacking options of Habib Beye before the end of the transfer window. Nevertheless, the Breton club have now turned their attentions elsewhere.
