Galatasaray have reportedly dispatched representatives to Italy to discuss a potential deal for Inter Milan outcast Davide Frattesi.

According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, the Turkish club’s top executives have already landed in Milan.

Cristian Chivu has put the 26-year-old midfielder on the chopping block following an underwhelming first half of the season.

However, Hakan Calhanoglu’s injury has made the Nerazzurri reconsider their stance on Davide Frattesi.

Therefore, the former Sassuolo man’s winter exit is anything but a foregone conclusion.

Inter are reportedly sticking to their staggering €40 million asking price for the out-of-form midfielder.

Furthermore, they’re insisting on a permanent transfer.

On the other hand, Galatasaray would ideally sign Frattesi on loan with an option to buy.

However, that deal structure is unacceptable for Inter. Therefore, talks have hit a stalemate.

Meanwhile, Frattesi is not the only reason why Galatasaray chiefs have arrived in Italy.

Indeed, the reigning Super Lig holders are also interested in AC Milan’s Youssouf Fofana and Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman.
