Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has reportedly earmarked Kim Min-jae and Brahim Diaz as his top targets for the summer. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, he has already informed the club of his intention to sign the Bayern Munich defender and the Real Madrid forward.
After missing out on UEFA Champions League qualification, Juventus will have to adjust their transfer plans. For starters, they have already waved goodbye to their hopes of luring Bernardo Silva to Turin, with the outgoing Manchester City midfielder set to continue his career in La Liga amid growing interest from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
Since they’re unable to sign the 31-year-old, Juventus could try to bring Diaz back to Serie A. Indeed, the versatile Moroccan forward is open to leaving the Santiago Bernabeu after tumbling down the pecking order. He spent the majority of the 2025/26 season playing second fiddle to Arda Guler and Jude Bellingham. As such, a return to Italy’s top flight could be a genuine possibility.
Despite Diaz’s bit-part role in Spain’s capital, Juventus would likely have to piece together a substantial offer to convince Real Madrid to sanction a sale. However, with Teun Koopmeiners expected to leave the club in the coming months, they might be able to use the money from his exit to fund the 26-year-old’s arrival.
As for Kim, he has established himself as a regular starter at Bayern Munich, earning Vincent Kompany’s trust after a shaky start in the Bundesliga. Kim, who left Napoli to join the record-time German champions in the summer of 2023, has two more years left on his current contract.
Therefore, Juventus can hardly expect to secure his signature on favorable terms, even though the South Korean is reportedly open to returning to Serie A.
