Juventus are ready to rival Inter Milan to sign goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and defender Giovanni Leoni.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are looking at a number of Italian players as potential transfer targets.
The most high-profile would be Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The 26-year-old’s contract with PSG runs out at the end of next June as things stand. And it is still unclear whether he will agree a new deal with the Parisians.
Meanwhile, Inter have reportedly made Giovanni Leoni a top target in defense. Having chosen Cristian Chivu as their new coach, they want the 18-year-old to follow him from Parma.

But according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus want to rival Inter for both Donnarumma and Leoni.
In the case of Donnarumma, everything would depend on whether or not the Italian international extends his contract with PSG.
Should the 26-year-old sign a new deal in Paris, he will obviously stay.
However, if Donnarumma doesn’t sign a new deal, then he could be available on a free transfer next summer. In that case, Inter would be ready to move.
On the other hand, reports the Gazzetta, Juventus may not wait that long. The Bianconeri could aim to snap the goalkeeper up this summer, with PSG looking to cash in while they have the chance.
Meanwhile, reports the Gazzetta, teenage defender Giovanni Leoni is also a target for Juventus just as much as for Inter.
