Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are moving full steam ahead in their pursuit of Hajduk Split teenager Branimir Mlacic.
According to FCInterNews, three clubs could still spoil the Nerazzurri’s efforts to sign the 18-year-old defender.
Beppe Marotta has already met the player’s entourage to discuss a move.
Finally, they would allow Branimir Mlacic to stay in Split until the end of the season to sweeten the agreement.

Despite emerging as the leading candidates to secure the youngster’s services, Inter cannot take anything for granted.
Indeed, Cesc Fabregas could ruin Inter’s plans of luring Mlacic to San Siro, with Como reportedly lining up a bid.
More importantly, the Lariani could offer the talented Croatian center-back an opportunity to join the first team straight away.
Elsewhere, Olympique Marseille are keeping close tabs on Mlacic’s development, though they’ve yet to submit an offer.
Last but not least, Barcelona could hijack Inter’s pursuit of Mlacic thanks to Hajduk’s technical director, Ivan Rakitic.
