Inter Milan star Davide Frattesi prefers to stay in Serie A over a potential transfer to Atletico Madrid or Man Utd.

Per Sky Sport Ch via FCInter1908, the 25-year-old midfielder has no intention of leaving his home country whatsoever.

Despite Roma’s valid attempt to secure Frattesi’s signature in January, former Inter boss Simone Inzaghi blocked the sale.

However, little has changed for the former Sassuolo ace in terms of status at the San Siro.

Indeed, he remains behind Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the pecking order.

Therefore, he has already instructed his representatives to find him a new club.

Frattesi hasn’t been a regular starter at the San Siro, though Cristian Chivu’s arrival could flip the script.

Yet, the in-demand midfielder is eager to avoid another uncertain campaign.

As such, his agents have set the wheels in motion to secure a move that would guarantee him more consistent playing time.

Serie A remains Frattesi’s first choice despite Man Utd’s advances.

Meanwhile, Napoli are the front-runners in the race to sign the Inter outcast.
