Rodez’s Tairyk Arconte set to sign for Millwall | OneFootball

Rodez AF centre-forward Tairyk Arconte (22) is set to sign for EFL Championship side Millwall, as per a report from Foot Mercato. 

Arconte thrived at Rodez last season. The centre-forward joined from Pau FC and hit the ground running. In his first season (and now likely his only season, despite being under contract until the summer of 2028), he netted 14 goals in 32 games in Ligue 2. He also registered four assists, guiding his club to the promotion/relegation play-off.

Rodez to pocket a €3m fee

His performances caught the eyes of several clubs, including AJ Auxerre in Ligue 1. They are looking to add more firepower as they anticipate the departure of Lassine Sinayoko. Scottish club Celtic were also in the race to sign the striker. 

However, Arconte looks all set for a move to England. A deal is almost sealed that will see him join Millwall in a deal worth a reported €3m.
